Hotel Alexandra - Muralto

The hotel is super clean, and the shared bathrooms were well-kept. Breakfast was delicious every mornin! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The bus stop right next to the hotel made it easy to get around locarno.

only downside was that the shared bathrooms could be a bit inconvenient at times and the noise from the street could wake us up early.

Room in the 4 floor, no elevator. Room was under the roof and quiet warm...

The friendliness of the staff was amazing. Sandra was really nice to talk to and took all the time to give us all the details she could. The other girl in the evening was also very polite and friendly (sorry I did not ask her name). Just a 5-10 min walk from the bus/railway station. Just a 10 min walk from the beautiful lake as well. We wante to go for the bungee jump so the bus ticket is just around 10 francs from there to diga verzasca.

No lift so if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor and have to carry your baggages up and down; is not so easy. No 24 hour reception.

The hotel provides a charming atmosphere, with well-maintained facilities and attentive staff who were always eager to assist. Breakfast options were plentiful, including a variety of baked goods and excellent coffee. On the downside, communication at the reception was challenging due to language barriers, and there were issues regarding dinner arrangements that caused some frustration.

appreciated our rooms with a shared bathroom. location: the hotel was next to a main artery through locarno, and ascona and the isola di brissago. we had lunch in new wave veggie, placed close by.

While booking I asked for a double bed instead of two separate beds, but I found separate beds juxtaposed to each other in my room.

What a lekker vibe! The staff were super friendly, always ready to help at a moment's notice. Brekkie was pretty good too, with proper coffee served hot! The vintage balcony was a sweet little spot to chill and soak in the views. Really enjoyed it!

The location is a bit noisy in the mornings. Got woken up early by traffic.

This hotel is really close to Locarno downtown. It's a little bit old fashioned but not abandoned. Reception is closed at night but for any urgency they give you a phone number to call; anyway, with the keys they give you, you can open also the hotel door. Nice to have the garage available. Breakfast enough, don't expect plenty of things. Not for those who are looking for modernity, design, high comfort, quick wireless connections and so on .... Good value for price.

A small and friendly hotel, with very obliging staff. Excellent evening meals (3 courses) which are good value for money and an adequate breakfast. The rooms are attractively decorated with colour coordinated fixtures. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the town centre or if taking the bus, it is outside the hotel. As the staff are Swiss they speak Italian, French and German. A very enjoyable stay.

The road next to the hotel was noisy at night,and the window had to be open, as the air conditioning did not operate at this time of the year (and we were there in a heat wave!). We asked to be moved to a room at the back of the hotel, which was quieter, and they were very obliging and moved our cases, while we were out.

The charming environment offers cozy accommodations with enough room for comfort. Its convenient proximity to the city center, less than 10 minutes away, makes it easy to explore local attractions quickly.

Some rooms feature slanted ceilings, causing a few unexpected bumps for taller guests. Limited breakfast options may leave some wanting more variety.

Good location - a short walk to the main square. Very friendly and cheerful staff and a good breakfast. Secure parking on site.
